Getting started as a Student Marketing Representative for
CiteIt! is easy. Just read the program details on
this page, review our Student Representative Agreement on the
next page, and then sign up! if you have any questions
that aren't answered on these pages, don't hesitate to email
studentrep@sidebarsoft.com.
What do I have to do?
Simply tell your friends and classmates at
your law school about the benefits and time savings that
CiteIt! provides during the legal research and writing process.
After you've told them about CiteIt!, just provide them with
your unique coupon code which will allow them a discount ($5
off of the Student Edition, $10 off of the Advanced Edition
and $15 off of the Professional Edition) when they purchase
CiteIt! online. Every time someone at your school uses your
coupon code to purchase CiteIt!, they SAVE money and you MAKE
money! It couldn't be much easier than that!
To help spread the word about CiteIt! to your entire law
school, we'll provide you with e-mail notices that you can
send out and promotional flyers that you can distribute to law
student mailboxes. Promoting CiteIt! will only take a couple
hours a month, but the rewards will be well worth your time!
What do I get?
After three people have used your coupon
code to purchase CiteIt!, we will send you a free Student
Edition of CiteIt!. In addition, we will send you a
check rewarding you for the three sales you generated with
your coupon code. You will receive:
- $5 for each Student Edition sold
- $10 for each Advanced Edition sold
- $15 for each Profession Edition sold
From that point on, for EACH additional
person who uses your coupon code to purchase CiteIt!, you will
receive the amount stated above. After the seventh person uses
your coupon code, you will receive a free upgrade to the
CiteIt! Professional Version (a $200 retail value).

For example, if six people use your coupon
code to purchase Student Editions of CiteIt! and two other
people use your coupon code to purchase Professional Editions
of CiteIt!, you would receive $30 total (6 times $5) for the
six Student Editions, $30 for the two Professional Editions (2
times $15) and a free copy of the CiteIt! Professional Edition
for yourself. That's $60 in cash and a $200 copy of CiteIt!.
And all of that for only providing your coupon code to eight
people.
We also will provide you access to an
on-line accounting system so you can see exactly how many
people have purchased CiteIt! using your coupon code, and
therefore how much money you have earned.
